In the field of SEO search engine there isn’t a hand book or regulations on the type of link baiting techniques that are ethical, so there aare many different methods. Tactics such as “evil hooks” or writing a negative comment or blog about a product is good ways to get peoples attention. Writing about how to make something or dealing with a certain situation always sparks some interests. The most ethical is called unique content hooks, which is made for websites in need of unique content. With this method, you create high quality content to be given to other web pages in return for a link. This is not the entire list of techniques and as I type, more and more ways are being discovered. In terms of search engine marketing, link baiting is the trend of the future.
